Associated Hydro Excavating uses a hot tap procedure to attach a branch connection and valve on the outside of an existing pipeline to avoid product loss while reducing the disruption of services to customers. These two services are essential the same by providing additional connections to a piping system, but the type of materials and welding that is needed for each process used is why they are different.
